The group tells WAVY.com, "At present Virginia does not require insurance companies to pay for services and therapies for children with Autism. Twenty three other states have recently enacted legislation to correct this injustice and provide coverage for their children in need. Virginia needs to do the same."
The organization is holding its second Annual Autism on October 30th to strengthen its message as well as bring the community together and provide some relief for families in our area that deal with this illness and need assistance, support and help.
