Brie Zeltner reports at The Cleveland Plain Dealer:
Cleveland Clinic doctor and Wellness Institute executive Daniel Neides sparked outrage among colleagues across the country when he posted an op-ed on cleveland.com espousing the widely discredited and anti-scientific notion that vaccinations are linked to autism.Physicians around the country denounced him on Twitter and the Cleveland Clinic made clear that it supports vaccines. Neides wrote of the "vaccine burden" and urged parents to spread out vaccinations. But when parents follow such advice, their kids can get the diseases that the vaccines prevent -- possibly with dire results.
